Food Bank
Our Mission, Goals, & Values
Our mission is to eradicate poverty, hunger, and homelessness from not only Canada but all over the world by networking and sharing of resources.
A Violence Free World
GIDSS has been working within Canada and other countries, in collaboration with thousands of non-profits and businesses, towards building a violence free world.
Healthier, Freshly Cooked
A unique food bank serving freshly cooked, healthy food to marginalized people, especially seniors, people with disabilities, and victims of violence.
Serving the Food
We served more than 15,000 meals last year in the Peel Region of Ontario through our staff and volunteers. Anyone can call and pickup free freshly cooked food from our location.

Our Community
At present, GIDSS Food Bank has been serving Brampton, Mississauga, and Caledon. We are also working on building more delivery points in the GTA with the support from our funding agencies.
