Make A Real Change In Someone’s Life

GIDSS Food Bank served more than 40,000 freshly cooked meals until last year. We have created a unique initiative of providing healthy, freshly cooked meals to hundreds of people in senior homes, shelter homes, youth agencies; to the homeless, women, victims of violence, and especially to families with severe disabilities. We believe that providing freshly cooked meals provides a healthier alternative than the typical non-perishable canned foods. This initiative is currently supported by the Government of Canada and United Ways, and by wonderful people like you.

GIDSS, which stands for Gandhian Initiative for Development of Support Services, is a registered Canadian, international, non-profit, charitable organization that was established in 2011 by Dr. Raminder Singh. GIDSS believes in practicing the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi by serving those less fortunate and spreading love and peace in the world. We help marginalized communities by networking and sharing of resources.
